To create a safe driving environment for both parties, drivers not only need to be aware that there are cyclists on the road, but cyclists also need to remember that respect goes both ways. It can be too easy to get angry in the heat of the moment when someone runs an amber light or cuts in front, but remembering that the road is shared and taking a second to think about your actions on the road can make a big difference.
