We're not just solicitors; above all, we're people just like you. To us, the most important thing about personal injury law is the individual at the centre of it all.
In 1987, Rob Fletcher decided to follow his passion and formed a new legal firm that specialised in litigation and, in particular, personal injury litigation. Working to protect the rights of injured accident victims and in the November 1987, Fletchers Solicitors was created with nine members of staff. Combined with Rob’s passion for motorcycling and his championing of the victims of motorbike accidents, we cemented our reputation as the go-to firm for any form of serious injury in a very short period of time.
We quickly built up an enviable reputation for being one of the best, most caring companies within the personal injury field and chose to create a third core area to specialise in, medical negligence. The department grew rapidly and is staffed by some of the best legal minds in the business, its reputation is now one of the best in the field. Today, Fletchers Solicitors has over 400 team members, based across two sites, our headquarters in Southport and ‘The 15th Floor’ in Manchester.
We are the only UK law firm listed in both The Sunday Times Top 100 Places to Work and the Guardian Great Places to Work for 2017. Although we have changed and grown substantially over the years, one thing has remained constant – the determination to do the best for victims of motorbike accidents, serious injury and medical negligence. Putting our customers at the heart of everything we do is what has kept Fletchers out in front since its inception and it’s what will keep us there for the foreseeable future.
Our values are integrated into everything we do here at Fletchers. They resonate throughout the whole organisation and are at our very core. We're proud that our values are reflected within the actions of our team members every day.

First and foremost, we want to do the very best job possible when it comes to rebuilding our customers lives following a serious accident.
By being an independent company, we can focus our attention on our people, instead of third party/other companies interests.
We want to provide the very best legal expertise and customer care in our sector.
We are passionate about using innovation to help us engage with and communicate with our customers and to recruit and develop our team.
We want all our team members to enjoy what they do and feel happy, engaged, developed and proud to work for our company.
In a turbulent and oftentimes uncertain industry, rife with change, we want to have a great business that is robust enough to adapt and continue to provide an excellent legal service and a secure place to work.
Our mission is to help rebuild the lives of people who have suffered serious, life changing injuries. Our goal is for them to have the very best possible life after injury. We do this not only through the case work we undertake for injured customers, but also through supporting charities, causes and organisations that share the same mission.
